Voda Cleaning & Restoration, a fast-growing name in the home services franchising sector, has announced the appointment of Sae Lee as its new Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer. This dual-role leadership addition comes as the brand approaches a significant milestone—its 100th franchise owner—just over two years after it began franchising.
Lee brings more than 15 years of expertise in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic advisory. Most recently, he served as Managing Director at Consello, where he led executive-level advisory engagements with a focus on the franchise space. His résumé also includes roles at Accenture, Bank of America Securities, Guggenheim, and Barclays, where he advised some of the world’s largest companies on financial and strategic initiatives.
Sae Lee Strengthening a Franchise Playbook
In his new role, Lee will oversee all financial operations and long-term planning for Voda Cleaning & Restoration and its parent company, Franchise Playbook. His responsibilities will also include capital strategy, corporate development, and platform growth; areas that are vital as Voda scales operations and sharpens its strategic focus.
“It’s an honor to join Voda during such an exciting stage of growth,” said Lee. “The team has built an extraordinary platform—one grounded in operational excellence, franchisee-first culture, and a clear vision to become the leading smart home services franchise in the country. I’m looking forward to helping scale both Voda Cleaning & Restoration and Franchise Playbook, while preserving the values and culture that make this organization so special.”
With a footprint that now includes nearly 100 franchise owners across more than 220 territories in 30 states, Voda’s growth has been propelled by a business model that combines immediate revenue through cleaning services and through insurance-backed restoration work. This dual-revenue approach has helped the brand remain nimble, while also tapping into a growing demand for health-conscious cleaning and water damage restoration solutions.
Positioned for the Next Chapter
Voda’s leadership sees the hiring of Lee as a key turning point in its growth trajectory.
“Bringing Sae Lee on board is a major inflection point for our brand,” said Dan Claps, Co-Founder and CEO of Voda Cleaning & Restoration. “His experience leading finance and strategy for global organizations and more importantly, his focus on franchising will be a tremendous asset as we build toward the next 100 franchisees. We’ve seen incredible momentum, and Sae’s leadership will help us further scale with clarity, confidence, and operational rigor.”
With Sae Lee at the helm of both finance and strategic planning, Voda Cleaning & Restoration aims to continue its rise in the franchise world by strengthening its operational foundation while advancing innovation in home services.
