Her shift into franchising came as both a multi-unit owner and a development executive, eventually helping scale a brand later acquired by Neighborly. Gemmell also made her mark as a top-producing franchise broker, matching business owners with brands across sectors including quick-service restaurants, fitness, and home healthcare.
