College Station, TX — Blo Blow Dry Bar, North America’s original blow dry bar franchise, has opened its latest location in College Station, providing a fresh new beauty destination for locals. Opening its doors on August 30 at 850 William D. Fitch Parkway, Suite 800, this stylish salon offers guests a wide array of hair and makeup services, including five signature blowout styles, custom hair treatments, and professional makeup looks designed to inspire and delight.

The new Blo Blow Dry Bar is owned and operated by Kara Kirk, a local entrepreneur and Baylor University graduate. Kirk, who holds a degree in accounting and is a licensed CPA, transitioned from her role in public accounting and a successful sales career with Mary Kay to pursue her passion for the beauty industry. Originally from San Antonio and now a Houston resident, Kirk found her calling in the Blo Blow Dry Bar franchise after noticing a gap in the market.

“Hair and beauty have always been my passion, and opening this salon is truly a dream come true,” shared Kirk. “I’ve always admired Blo’s commitment to exceptional customer service and unparalleled salon experiences. I’m excited to bring this concept to our community and share this exciting journey with each of its members!”

    Special Offers and Membership Perks

To celebrate its opening, Blo Blow Dry Bar is offering a special discounted Blowout for $40, valid from August 30 through September 29. For those planning ahead, the salon also has packages available for homecoming hair and makeup, as well as Halloween-themed makeup services.

Additionally, the new location is introducing a special founder’s rate for its Mane Squeeze Membership. For a limited time, members can enjoy two blowouts per month for just $75, along with $5 off each additional blowout and 10% off retail and makeup services. This offer provides a great way for beauty enthusiasts to maintain their look at a fantastic value.

    A Beauty Experience for Everyone

Blo Blow Dry Bar aims to create an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere where every guest can feel beautiful and pampered. With a focus on self-care and wellness, the salon combines a sophisticated yet lively environment with a commitment to providing high-quality services. The professionally trained “blo-ers” are available for consultations seven days a week, offering styles ranging from sleek and straight to voluminous curls, plus custom updos, braids, and even trendy hair tinsel.

Kirk’s new bar is expected to become a go-to spot for anyone looking for a quick touch-up or a glamorous transformation. The salon’s dedication to fostering a positive atmosphere and delivering top-notch beauty experiences reflects the Blo brand’s broader mission to uplift and celebrate all people, regardless of age, ethnicity, or orientation.
