Franchise Business Review (FBR), a leader in independent franchise research, has officially opened entries for the 2025 Franchising at WORK Awards, a prestigious recognition honoring the best franchise companies to work for based exclusively on employee feedback. The awards program is designed to highlight franchise organizations with outstanding workplace cultures, providing valuable insights into employee engagement and satisfaction across the franchise sector.
Franchisors, franchise business owners, and franchise suppliers in the U.S. and Canada with at least 10 employees and $1 million in annual revenue are invited to participate. Companies can register for the awards and access full entry details at FranchisingAtWork.com.
Employee Ratings Define the Best Places to Work in Franchising
Unlike other workplace recognition programs, the Franchising at WORK Awards are based entirely on independent employee surveys. Participants complete the Franchising at WORK Employee Engagement Survey, which measures job satisfaction, company culture, management effectiveness, brand leadership, and overall employee engagement through 32 benchmark questions.
Survey results are completely confidential, allowing franchise employers to gain candid insights from their teams while competing for recognition as a top workplace. Based on the survey findings, Franchise Business Review will announce winners across multiple categories—including Small, Medium, and Large employers, as well as top-performing unit-level franchise organizations and franchise suppliers.
The deadline to enter is April 30th, 2025, and winners will be announced live in August 2025.
Why Workplace Culture Matters More Than Ever
With talent attraction and retention remaining a top challenge in the franchise industry, earning recognition as a preferred employer has never been more valuable. Plus, great workplaces at a franchisor level have the power to create and set the example for great workplaces at the franchisee level. This is when the magic happens and brands are truly unified.
“Cultivating a strong company culture and enhancing the employee experience are essential for franchise organizations looking to recruit and retain top talent,” said Michelle Rowan, president and COO of Franchise Business Review. “More than ever, recognition as a preferred employer within the franchise sector is a powerful way to differentiate your company as a top place to work.”
Beyond the accolades, participating franchise organizations gain powerful benchmarking data that can help improve leadership strategies, enhance workplace policies, and boost overall employee satisfaction.
